Air is forced to sullen
winter, its breathing
creaks and the spine
of the mountain cracks

gristly sun attacks with
unsated stealth of sharks,
devours the steel and
killing veil of eyelids

I know you run by slips
and spits from puddles,
the eternal blue hunter
is always understood
