wwwwwI always suspected Cezanne
wwwwwin the still resolution
wwwwwof flat and moulded spaces
wwwwwin the silent green
wwwwwof ordered and tangled forms
wwwwwand remotely registered
wwwwwsongs of claws

wwwwwI was sure that my path
wwwwwran dead-centre,
wwwwwundisturbed by the
wwwwwhot and cold running light,
wwwwwseeping out through
wwwwwcounterpoint notes
