I went out looking for
great truths to stumble on
but found only headlines

I turned to kaleidoscoping
subverting the world
by the curse of symmetry

I wanted to be post-romantic
but stamps were expensive
so I founded profound.com

I reviewed the lie of the land
and found a certain slut-ness
in curvaceous synclines

I took up circumventing
lost two stone and won
awards from the Inland Revenue

I pieced out imperfections
with my thoughts
and all the lights fused

I stumbled and found
great truths but
remained unconvinced
